Is there any home alternative to preserving a wedding dress?

I don’t really want to pay over $100.00 to have mine preserved so I was wondering if anyone knew or had any ideas about preserving their own dress such as how to wrap it and in what kind of paper and more details???

You could try one of those “space bags” where you take the air out, via a vacumn cleaner hose and it sucks the air out and it flattens what ever is in there, thus, making moisture and dirt, not being able to get to it…
