Spruce up your Summer with the High Definition Color Trend
Almost every summer drab winter beiges and pastels make way for brighter summery hues that lighten your mood and adds that spring to your step. This summer the color trend continues with a bolder, brighter and more stiking colors which can best be defined as High-definition Colors!
So how do you incorporate this trend without looking like a techni-colored rainbow?
Ease into the color trend by wearing just one bright piece as an accent feature. A solid colored top with a neutral pencil skirt, flare skirt or peg-leg trouser. Try red, cobalt blue, coral, lilac or chartreuse up top and white, gray or black on your lower half.
Accessorize with one high definition color and keep the rest simple. Bright colored handbags, a little black dress with a smashing neon belt clinching your waist or bold jewelry pieces like these will make it easy to pull off confidently if you’re not used to too much color…
Or if you can pull it off, go all head to toe in color. Now by no way do I mean jump in with both feet by wearing contrasting socks on each foot or throw caution to the wind and mix & match just about any color. It requires healthy helping of confidence to carry off wearing a bold colors, hence the word ‘bold’ is used. But if you’d like to try but aren’t too sure of which colors work together, the Color Blocking trend is just what you need. Color block prints can be almost geometrical and flatter you body type well. And if you’ve got spunk go wild with the other countless prints and high-def colors flooding stores today. Just remember to keep the make-up minimal to carry this trend off with panache.
